It is not recommended to expand the Cocopeat in a pot/ trough that is smaller than

the final (expanded)  volume of the brick. The size of the planter should fit to the

size written on the brick package.

In order to achieve an healthy plant , a nutrient source should be added.

This could be done by  adding small amount of natural compost or by adding a

slow release fertilizer (In some gardens there is a fertigation  system that

gives a steady flow of fertilizers. Such a system is excellent but more expensive).

Irrigating the plants should be done in a way that the plant will not lack water but

will  have enough  air in the root zone.
